All Our Interior Design Thinking Under One Virtual Roof

Interior mechanica was set up in 2024 as an umbrella site for the sole purpose of collecting the ideas and imagery produced through our exhaustive project and consulting work, and to finally link the collective to social media platforms. 

We are all experts with each between 20 and 30 years experience in our respective fields, and often across more than one discipline.

Each of our speciality services was brought about because a customer wanted something different to the mainstream offering, even if it was labelled as bespoke. Customers loved our organic approach to developing new ideas. Especially one’s that hadn’t been previously considered. They loved hearing from other customers when demonstrating our ability to truly project manage – not just diary schedule; taking responsibility for deliverables. And they really appreciated the fact we talk in both aesthetics and dimensional details, so they knew exactly what they were getting and how it would work.

We are interiors, kitchen, furniture and product designers who believe that the design stage – the thinking stage – makes all the difference for the customer. This means knowing we have covered all possible concepts, to ensure a truly unique and fitting solution for the customer. Then with exhaustive concept development with client signoff, the detail is communicated with clarity and precision. This essential criteria is not just critical because the customer needs vision into their project, but because it will help ensure that the craftsman knows how to manufacture the goods and the tradesmen know how to install them – truly often forgotten parts of the modern project.

A truly happy customer is one whom remains happy when using the living space, long after all the concept ideas and drawings are filed away, which is why many clients become good friends.

We work as a full design / supply business for kitchen, bedroom and study furniture, as well as offering design only consultation and professional services.

We have skilled design and project staff and reliable teams for building services, plumbing and electrical, with knowledge and experience in many bespoke fabrications, assemblies, one-off products and prototypes.

We talk clearly and pride ourselves on honesty and simplicity. Solutions can be complicated but explanations should not be. We respect your time and investments. We uphold and value traditional working practice but embrace the modern whenever it benefits most.
